    Hello,

Somebody posted a similar problem a few days ago, but this thread is closed, so I am posting a new one. Maybe Apple has changed something, and this issue affects more users.

My website was working great in Google Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge, but in Safari, it was infinite loading (blinking dot) while the following settings were turned-on (even turning on one of them will make the website not to load).

    CSS combine: ON
    JS combine: ON
JS Combine External and Inline: ON.

Could you please inspect this issue? Disabling those settings hits website performance badly.

It fails on Safari Version 14.0.2 (16610.3.7.1.9) on macOS BigSur 11.1

I’ve sent you a report: NBGFNFBE

    Kind regards,
    Gregor

    Hi,

yeah , different system and different browser may process page differently

Have you tried to find and exclude certain JS/CSS from being combined ?

@qtwrk, thanks for a prompt reply. In that case, I think that Safari would be the most demanding and will test it in this browser according to the rule – if it works in Safari it should be working everywhere.

I only did some media exclusion because of issues with the revolution slider.
I haven’t yet tried doing the exclusions of CSS/JS files. I will do it starting with CSS.

Please confirm if the best way to do it is to add all of the files to the exclusion list, then delete one from the list. Clear the cache, check if the page still works, and then redo it until finding the one(s) that were culpable?

    Best regards

    Hi,

Thanks for good advice. I managed to manually exclude CSS and JS files that were causing problem. It now works as a charm in both Safari and Chrome.
