  • I don’t see the Testimonials widget in the sidebar, did you take it out? How are you trying to modify the CSS?

Shawn, Did you check https://nodedesk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202243372? May it can help you to fix CSS issues.

Shawn, most plugins will not come with its own styling because it’s impossible to accommodate the looks of every theme. Plus, themes often have different classes for the same elements, so trying to write CSS rules which uses the same styling as a given theme is pretty impossible. That leaves it up to the web designer to add in his or her own CSS to finish the styling.

How did you try to add in your own CSS? Were you using a plugin or were you adding it to the end of your child theme’s style.css file? If you add the Testimonial plugin back in, I can get you started as far as how to add in your own styling to make it look right. If you know how to use a web debugging tool like Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools, it’s very easy.
