 * when I use firebug to make sure it’s supposed to do what I want it shows me that
   it does.
 * #page, #blog, #contact, #portfolio .single-portfolio, #gallery .single-gallery{
   text-align: right;}
 * when I put it into the child theme css and refresh….nothing happens….

 * Clear your browser’s cache too.

 * take a look. The text is not aligning right because the css rule is not even 
   applied when you check with firebug. something with the child theme is not correct.
   I just don’t know what….

 * Looks like that’s a commercial theme –

 * So you’ll need to ask the developer for help. It’s possible that theme won’t 
   work as a child theme – not all themes will.
