CSS Image Mapping

  • Found a really cool means of creating a rollover image map using the style sheet. A link to the article at A List Apart: CSS Sprites. Here’s how I’ve used it on my blog: escapisms. Mouse over the images in the banner at the top of the page.

  • hey neato! I read that article but haven’t put it to use yet, good to know. (so you know just a couple super minor CSS errors in your stylesheet)
i love the picture of the dog!

Thanks joey – i didn’t revalidate after i put the banner in. 😉 i’ll do that now.

i put together a simplified tutorial as a text file: css image mapping. let me know if there’s any errors in the code. 🙂
