css help please
-
I cannot figure out how to style/restyle the subscribe form. specifically, I cannot figure out where the bullet is coming from, to get rid of it. I want to be able to line up the form with the other items in the sidebar.
plus, I have just grabbed the code from the sidebar when I placed the widget simplesubscribe there, because the theme I am using has a hand built sidebar and I want to keep it that way.
when I look at the css file in plugins editor in wordpress, I do not see the bullet anywhere.
and I am not sure I can make it work by grabbing the source that appears in the sidebar when I insert the widget, view source, copy, then delete the widget from the sidebar and copy the source I copied back into the sidebar in the theme editor.
anyone? assistance most welcome!

well, yes, I’ve been there, and I must be entirely thick, because I cannot sort out what I am supposed to do… fill in []??
I have worked with css, so I am not completely dense… but apparently in this case I am.
can you tell me where the bullet in front of “Email” is coming from?
thank you for yr help.

Yes, first of all, it depends on your theme, not all themes are the same, but the widget guts never change, If i had to bet (because I havent seen oyur webiste and what causes it), I’d say you have to stlye these two
.widgetGuts dt {} .widgetGuts dd {}
🙂 since you have worked with CSS, you know the drill, list-style etc.
