CSS help needed

    I got a free theme, and only understand CSS to an extent. Im using the <span> CSS tag to change the color of text on my website, using color:

    But the problem is <span> is used in other parts of the website, so when i change the text color in span, it changes all of them. is there a more specific way to target a set of links CSS to change their color?
