CSS for new Themes in WP1.5 (2 posts)

Right, I may be being stupid because CSS's aren't something I use very often (infact only ever for WP). I've recently upgraded to 1.5 and I am creating my theme at the moment. I have done all the graphics easily enough and now I want to change some of the text formatting, nothing to complex, just colours and sizes and fonts, but when I change the colours in the CSS it doesn't seem to work. I am working from the Kubrick Default Template as a starting point and just changing values. Can someone give a break down or a link to a page that can help me work out which values relate to which parts of a blog page. Also i would like to adjust the margins on the sidebar.

    Thanks in advance.
