Hi. Thanks for this awesome plugin.

My questions…is it possible to create tables of different style on the same page? I may have 3 or 4 tables in a single post. There is the Extra CSS Classes for the Custom CSS in Plugin Options, but if I have 50 posts with different table styles, it is going to be a huge pile of CSS codes in the Custom CSS field. Is there an extension of yours that I can customize each table on each individual post?

    Martin

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, this is possible. You will just have to use different CSS code for the tables. Note that this would NOT go into the “Extra CSS classes” text field on each table’s “Edit” screen, but into the “Custom CSS” text area on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress.

Depending on what you are changing in the styling, it might then be worth exploring what should be set as default values for all tables (using the global .tablepress CSS class) and what should be set on a per-table-ID basis (via the .tablepress-id-123 etc. classes). Then, if some tables use the same CSS you could also merge that to make the CSS shorter.

    Regards,
    Tobias
