Css custom. text box does’t show

Hi,
I just installed the latest release of tablepress on WP 4.9.5 and in the Extension Options tab, there isn’t any CSS text box that I can use to customize the created tables. I am logged in as Editor (I am not the site administrator) so from what I have read I should be able to access the CSS customization text box.

Have you tried the Tablepress > Plugins Options?

If you can’t see this menu, the Editors probably don’t have this capability.

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Indeed, as cloudduster already mentioned, this indicates that your user’s role does not possess the relevant access capability.

Please have the admin try the approach from https://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-missing-from-wp-menu/#post-9749919 to restore them.

I have a tablepress plugin installed in another website where I am the admin and went there to check where this tablepress_options entry is located (just in case my friend needs some help) and could not find it where you say: in wp-admin/options.php
Can you help?

Hi,

yes, you have to go to http://your-site.com/wp-admin/options.php (NOT the file in the FTP program, but surf to the page in your browser).

Ah, and the option is named “tablepress_plugin_options”.
