Support » Plugin: WP Author Bio » CSS Conflict with Simple Twitter Tweets

    After I installed Simple Twitter Tweets today, I noticed the avatar in Sexy Author Bio was pushed to the right, overlapping with some text. I traced this to the use by both plugins of the .avatar class. I fixed the conflict on my site by adding these lines to my custom CSS:

    .avatar {margin-left: 0px;}
    .tweets .avatar {margin-left: 53px;}

    You may be able to avoid this conflict in future versions of your plugin by using “.sab-gravatar .avatar” in your CSS instead of just “.avatar”.

    That’s poor CSS targeting in the Simple Twitter Tweets plugin, they should really fix that. Regardless thanks for letting me know and I’ve just made a simple patch to address the conflict. I’m in the middle of a much larger update right now though, so I won’t be able to push a new version with said patch until I finish completing some other new features as well.
