Support » Fixing WordPress » CSS Classes for Menu Items unchecks after save

  • Hello, all.

I am having a problem with the CSS Classes in the screen options panel. When I check the box next to CSS Classes, and add my first menu item, the box that allows me to add css classes to my menu item is there. Once I save the menu and click on the page again to view the options, the css classes is gone and it has “unchecked” itself from the “Screen Options Menu”. Also, I can check css classes option again, but for any item that has already been added to the menu, the option to assign or view css classes will not show up in the page options.

I am working with the latest and greatest version of WP, and creating a child theme based on twentyeleven. I have checked for script conflicts (and found none) and am also using the jQuery that comes with twentyeleven to make sure that is not a part of the problem.

Any thoughts? Anybody else having this issue?
Thanks in advance for any help/direction you can provide!
