[CSS] Background colour of header/footer (3 posts)

Hi and apologies for the beginner question - I have tried to search, but I may be searching on the wrong terms.

I need to change the background colour of the site header and footer on this site:

I would like to change the header/footer to black (#000000) and then update the text within to white (#FFFFFF). Unfortunately I'm just starting out and have struggled to find anything within the search. I have a new logo to go in already, but the background and the text colours need to change first.

    Thank you.

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for responding.

It's actually from a previous developer who unfortunately I'm no longer working with anymore and I believe it's a custom theme as a result.

Would it help if I were to Pastebin the code for one of these pages so you can see it? -

I'm guessing the code for this may be in one of these pages?
