CSS and Java not being combined/minified

    Hello!

    Dear author 😀

    Would you kindly give me a hand please? For some reason I cannot find out – AO isn’t combining css and javascripts anymore 🙁 No matter what options I use the total amount of requests is always the same!

    Weird thing though, if I use wp rocket minification – same thing happens, files are not combined.

    I would highly appreciate your help!!!

    WP Rocket does not typically combine files very well. Do you have the “Aggregate all linked CSS-files?” option selected in your Autoptimize options? There is a similar option for the JS. Make sure you have Advanced Settings turned on.

    Thank you for replying back.

    Yes, I have “Aggregate all linked CSS-files” checked but it doesn’t affect anything 🙁

    P.S. I do remember some time ago when I was checking the speed – I would have like 60-70 requests only, now it’s 200+ lmao

    Most likely a plugin conflict of some sort, can you try disabling/ enabling plugins one at a time (and briefly switch themes) to find out which one is causing this?

    OMG

    Absolutely right o_O

    It’s the Groovy Menu plugin that doesn’t want to work with AO 🙁
    I disabled it and got my 55 requests back LOL

    Now gotta figure out how to fix it heh.

    Uh oh!

    Maybe I can exclude it completely from AO? Or it doesn’t work that way 😀 ?

    As AO doesn’t seem to work at all when Groovy Menu is active, it is _very_ unlikely that excluding Groovy Menu from optimization will make any difference .. But you can always try, off course 😉

    SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    (well kinda – looks fugly)

    I have manually inserted the php code from the menu and everything is being MINIFIED NOW!

    Moar minification for the God of Minification!
