CSS affects bbPress

I’m using Genesis bbPress Extend and Genesis Connect for BuddyPress and I noticed my group forums looked gross a bit ugly (http://cl.ly/image/1b2m0R302I1c).
Turns out it was interacting with some BuddyPress CSS. Line 23 of buddypress.css:

.directory .item-list-tabs ul li,
.internal-page #content ul li {
	display:inline;
	float:left;
	position:relative;
}

I’ve fixed it in my own stylesheet, but I think you’ll agree that it would be better if that didn’t have to be done.
