 * In the CSS area, I have the following:
 * .tablepress thead th,
    .tablepress tbody td { text-align: center; }
 * I wanted to change the text to all black and added the following, but it didn’t
   seem to work
 * .tablepress .wp-caption-text {
    color: #000000; }
 * I used the same code without the “centering” code and it works…so I assume I
   am not combining the two bits of code correctly.
 * Can someone please tell me how to combine the two so that I get the data centered,
   and the data in black?
 * Thanks.

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * The codes by itself look fine. Can you please post a link to the page with the
   table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * First…here is what I have in the of CSS Options section. I put a line space between
   the two groups of code. Is there supposed to be something else there?
 * .tablepress thead th,
    .tablepress tbody td { text-align: center; }
 * .tablepress .wp-caption-text {
    color: #000000; }
 * The link to the page that centers text but where the text is not black is [https://forum.bcyc.org/taco-tuesdays-entries](https://forum.bcyc.org/taco-tuesdays-entries)

 * Hi,
 * thanks for the link!
 * You can actually use a simpler CSS command here (the second one is aimed at a
   different table structure). Please try again with the combined version
 *     ```
       .tablepress thead th,
       .tablepress tbody td {
         text-align: center;
         color: #000000;
       }
       ```
