    WordPress 3.0.3
    CryptX Version 2.8
Additional Plugin/possible conflict: Widget Entries Version 0.1

I have set CryptX to work in Widgets (therefore, all Widgets).
It works fine if I use
    Email Us
in a regular WordPress Text Widget.
It does not, however, encrypt an email address within a custom widget created with the Widget Entries Version 0.1 plugin.

I am guessing that this is a limitation in Widgets created with the Widget Entries plugin. That plugin allows you to create/edit custom widgets using an editor (like Posts and Pages). Because I have yet to find a working Text Widget plugin that allows me to edit a regular WordPress Text Widget with a real editor (e.g. insert image, format text), I am stuck with the Widget Entries plugin for that capability. So I am just looking for some insight from anyone who has tried CryptX in this particular set of circumstances.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Lynn

    Hi lynn,

It’s the first time I hear about cryptX, interesting. I’ll have a look at the code of widget entries and if find out something about the problem i release a new version.
