crossdomain.xml

  • Hi,
    issues, issues, issues …
    Installed, activated, ran into a crossdomain issue.

    I placed a crossdomain.xml into the root of my webspace (yeah, I checked it, its the exact root) but when I try to run the Coolirs Plugin, it asks me all the time to put the crossdomain.xml into my root-folder.

    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
    <cross-domain-policy>
        <allow-access-from domain="*.cooliris.com" secure="false" />
        <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all"/>
    </cross-domain-policy>

    Also checked the r/w rights and (temporarily) set it to 777.
    I also “updated” the policy-link, but also tried the “default” one.

    I think there are some issues with the media-rss of NextGen Gallery, because the problem also exists on the cooliris page http://www.cooliris.com.

    Hello,

    These are the following steps I took in order to make cooliris work.

    – Went to public_html file
    – Chose the correct domain name folder
    – Then created a new file under that folder and named it crossdomain.xml… I then inserted the following (as requested by cooliris):

    <?xml version=”1.0″?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM “http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd”>
    <cross-domain-policy>
    <allow-access-from domain=”*.cooliris.com” />
    </cross-domain-policy>

    I hope that helps=)

    ***Make sure nextgen gallery & nextgen cooliris are activated***
