 * Hi everybody!
 * As i wrote on the topic title i have a problem from a while with the cropping
   of the thumbnails! This problem goes only on this theme (OCEAN WP). In fact,
   if i change theme, the problem doesn’t exist!
 * Before this problem, if i uploaded a image with the 3:4 ratio, this this image
   was automatically cropped to a 1:1 ratio.
 * If i go to the settings>customize>woocommerce>image of the product>thumbnail
   cropping and i select 1:1, it doesn’t change nothing.
 * I’d like that all the thumbnails be shown with the 1:1 ratio
 * I have this problem only with Ocean Wp theme.
 * I am using the child version
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcropping-thumbnails-problem%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@nicolaperra180692](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nicolaperra180692/),
 * Thank you for your report,
 * We did see this happening on our end, so we’ll share this with our team for investigation
   and fix/improvement for the next updates.
 * This case is related to WooCommerce’s latest update: [https://github.com/elementor/elementor/pull/19435](https://github.com/elementor/elementor/pull/19435).
   As a temporary solution, you can downgrade to the previous version to solve the
   issue from the following link: [https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.6.7.0.zip](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.6.7.0.zip).
 * Download the file and upload it on WP Dashboard > Plugins > Add New, then click
   on the “Replace current with uploaded” button.
 * Note: if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies
   and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.
   Also, don’t forget to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor
   > Tools.
 * I appreciate your patience until the issues are resolved.
    Please let me know
   if you have any questions about the above steps.
 * Best Regards

 * So, i need to disable the plugin and then do the downgrade? do I have to clear
   the cache from the server too before starting?
 * I use as host Vhosting
 * Thank you for the response!

 * Hi [@nicolaperra180692](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nicolaperra180692/),
 * Please check this link: [https://gtmetrix.com/reports/pasodobleshop.it/YqRNQEvn/](https://gtmetrix.com/reports/pasodobleshop.it/YqRNQEvn/),
   then check the following:
 * **Page Details:**
    It shouldn’t have many heavy files, so sometimes “1.58MB”
   may is a large number, like this one: [https://i.postimg.cc/vHNvZXTQ/image.png](https://i.postimg.cc/vHNvZXTQ/image.png).
   I’ll suggest reducing file sizes!
 * **Server Optimization:**
    TTFB; This is related to the host configurations, and
   users should use the compatible host with WordPress. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_to_first_byte#:~:text=Time%20to%20first%20byte%20(TTFB,received%20by%20the%20client’s%20browser](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_to_first_byte#:~:text=Time%20to%20first%20byte%20(TTFB,received%20by%20the%20client’s%20browser).
   After the above steps: You have to solve a series of problems that, for example,
   GTMetrix suggests, and please check the “Performance” tab. [https://i.postimg.cc/K8Ttv2CN/image.png](https://i.postimg.cc/K8Ttv2CN/image.png).
 * And please read the articles on this website: [https://web.dev/fast/](https://web.dev/fast/).
 * Best Regards
