I am using the Edit Thumb tool to customize each of my thumbs for the best appearance. They look good in the Gallery backend, but do not update on the live page. I realize now that that the cropped and edited thumb is saved in the wp-content/uploads/gallery-name/thumbs folder, but the Gallery page pulls the image from the wp-content/uploads/gallery-name/dynamic folder, which is NOT updated by the Edit Thumb process.

How can I display the edited thumb in my page – either by ensuring that the cropped thumb is saving it to the correct Dynamic folder or by selecting the thumbnails from the Thumbs folder to display?

@rotarjen – Have you tried clearing your image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous? You may also need to clear your browser cache (but try a hard-refresh first, just in case that is enough for the browser).

    Thanks!

@rotarjen never answered so I’ll answer for them. I was having the same problem, but the solution proposed by @photocrati worked. Thank you.

@ravenswd – Thanks for your update. This is a commonly overlooked step when making these sorts of changes although we do try to provide a reminder message in most cases.
