 * The thumbnails that show up are a cropped version of the original image. Is there
   a way for me to retain the original dimension?

 * Hey Tony,
 * Can you please let us know the thumbnail size you have set in the “Settings >
   Media” menu? If you could share a screenshot than it would be helpful.

 * I’ve set it as 150×150. Tried changing the dimensions, but only smaller, uniform
   dimensions are reflecting on related posts (ie. 50×50, 100×100). The original
   feature images are 700×400. Can I maintain that proportion?

 * Hey Tony,
 * Can you please unselect the “Crop” option and then rebuild the thumbnails before
   testing again?

 * Thanks Harish, editing the Media settings and un-checking crop worked for me.

   A note for others with this issue: Wordpress will still reference the cropped
   version of the image as the system has already done this for you. To see an updated
   thumbnail in the correct size, you will need to set the featured image on your
   related blog article AGAIN.
 * Following Harish’s steps to set my own thumbnail size and then setting the featured
   image again fixed my issues.
