# cron_schedules

 * hi,
 * I’ve been playing around with cron_schedules and have set the $schedules to which
   every time I want. The cron runs perfectly when someone visits the site as said
   at the codex “The action will trigger when someone visits your WordPress site,
   if the scheduled time has passed.”
 * But what if the site would not be visited, the scheduled time has already passed,
   and it was designed not to be visited regularly? How can those cron_schedules
   run without an external trigger?
 * Right now I have these code below:

 * I don’t think there is any way of doing it without setting a crontab on your 
   server. There is another discussion about doing that in the wordpress support
   forum.
