Cron Events from Wordfence even though not installed?

    Hi

    I have not had Wordfence installed for a while (few months) yet in the cron events history on WordPress I regularly see cronjobs from Wordfence? Why is this?

    How do I entirely disable Wordfence?

    Hi @mdeluk, sorry to see you’re still seeing some crons running from Wordfence.

    There is a process to try Wordfence > All Options > Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation after re-enabling the plugin if Wordfence is still present but just deactivated. I expect this option may have not been checked when you originally removed Wordfence.

    However, it may be easier if you’ve removed Wordfence altogether to temporarily install a cron management plugin like WP Crontrol and bulk delete the jobs prefixed with wordfence_

    Hi.
    I have the same problem, but
    I bulk deleted all wordfence_ jobs and they are there again…
    Any ideas?
