I’m using latest version of WordPress & Email Subscribers. I’ve set up a cron in CPanel to run every hour. It is running successfuly, ie, generating output. Number of emails is set to 90, as the host permits 100 emails per hour. I’m using Mail Bank’s WP email plugin & using the SMTP sending method. If posts are published immediately, it works, but, having > 300 subscribers, this would quickly exceed my mail limits. I’m also receiving emails such as notification that my cron url was triggered successfully, so that is not the problem.

Cron output also suggests it’s going back & picking up posts from a very long time ago, ie, 2/23/2018, which, if true, is obviously highly undesirable behavior. Here is the output from the last cron job.

If I talk woodsy, it’s because that’s what I am—from childhood on. Kind providence set me on a path that included wilderness treks from Maine to Alaska. You can read about some of them at www.lloydsstorytree.com.

Sam’s article led me back to Quiet Magic, his second book (1998). I read his account of Hawk Ridge and smiled. My first-ever campout was there, 1935. My buddy and I slept on the ground under the stars rolled up in a blanket. We cooked breakfast over an open fire. There was no road in those days.

A favorite day hike was to follow the ridge of the hill and across Amity Creek, Lester River, and farm fields to Moose Mountain, where we’d cook lunch and hike home, I caught my first trout in the Amity.

A while back I wrote a small leaders’ manual called the Wilderness Way, partly how-to, partly philosophy. My thesis: removing a child form direct involvement with the necessities of life damages his soul. Trail living finds food, shelter, and clothing your pack. You walk (transportation).

I use a default theme, I’ve deactivated all plugins except yours & Wp Mail Bank, & the problem persists.

I’ve deleted the plugin, including its database tables, then reinstalled, w/no help.

    Apologies for the delayed response.
I did check with the same case on my end and it seems to have been working perfectly.
Do let me know if you are still facing an issue.

@prathameshp, thanks. I never got cron to work & regretfully abandoned the plugin. I really liked it otherwise, but I simply couldn’t get it to work. I suppose I could’ve tried to wade through the files to figure out precisely what occurs when a cron is called in terms of the scripts being run & found a workaround, but I just didn’t have the time–the client needed his website working. Obviously w/no error messages, the task became harder still. I suspect I’m not the only person experiencing this difficulty, however, &, since you can’t replicate the problem, I would be happy to do some testing on my server if you can think of anything to test out.
