 * I was doing a routine plugin update, and now when I visit my site (gobbleupnorthwest.
   com), all I get is this error message:
 * There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin
   email inbox for instructions.
 * Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.
 * I know I should disable the plugins and re-enable one-by-one to find the culprit,
   but now I can’t even access my dashboard to do so.
 * How do I resolve a problem like this?
 * Thanks,

 * Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t
   find the log, please contact your host.
 * Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/
   debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. [https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/](https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/)
 * You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of
   the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one
   to identify the source of your troubles.
 * **If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins:

 * Thanks. I was able to identify the plugin that was causing the problem by naming
   them one-by-one with “.disabled” after the folder name in my FTP client.
