Critical Error With 8.02

Hi,

Just updated to 8.02 and my site threw a Critical Error, see details below:

Active theme: Vogue (version 10.9.3)

@ttoaster Is it possible that the 8.0.2 update was interrupted?

Because that specific error doesn’t make sense unless files are missing in the plugin:

Hmmm… no interruptions on my server…

Tried to update it again, and it seemed to work without throwing any error messages this time.

WordPress executed Site Reviews code during the update process while files were in a transitional state—SummaryParameters.php (from v8, calling max()) loaded before Rating.php (still v7, lacking max()).

This race condition was triggered by WooCommerce preloading REST API data in the update iframe footer, initializing REST routes prematurely. It affected Site Reviews because it integrates with WooCommerce using the REST API routes.

Issues like this can happen in bulk updates, but resolves post-update.

I will look into a fix to prevent the WooCommerce REST API preloading from affecting Site Reviews.
