    Hi,
    I receive a crictial error if I try to connect my site with Instagram.

    This is what I did:
    – I opened your plugin´s config page
    – Clicked on “Log in”
    – Logged in to Instagram and authorized all requested information
    – Now when I´m redirected back to may page it says “crictical error”

    Any idea what I´m doing wrong?

    Thank you,
    Tom

    Hi, sorry you are having trouble!

    Can you edit your wp-config.php file to replace this line –

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );

    With these lines –

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);

    This means that any errors are logged to `/wp-content/debug.log’, because some errors are not visible on screen.

    More details about that at http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug

    Can you then retry the process and send me the debug.log file that should be created.

    Can you check your PHP version on your hosting – the plugin requires a minimum of PHP 5.5

    Hey Tom

    No problem. It looks like some data has got corrupted. Can you look in your database at the wp_options table, and let me know what the value of the option with the option_name ‘itw_userid’ is?

    Plugin Author Iain Poulson

    (@polevaultweb)

    Hey @mott2060 did you manage to look into that option?

    (@mott2060)

    Dear Iain,
    There is no itw_userid option within wp_options. I only have itw_defaulttitle, itw_imagefeat, itw_imagelink, itw_imagesave, itw_postformat, itw_poststatus, itw_posttype, itw_post_date and itw_version.

    Thank you,
    Tom

    Thanks @wpusermanager for your input.
    PHP was already on version 7.1 (now 7.2).

    Can you try uninstalling the plugin, and the reinstalling please?

    – Deactivate
    – Delete
    – Install
    – Activate

    That should clear the settings and hopefully get you up and running

    Thanks for your swift reply. This is exactly what I did before I answered your previous post. Unfortunately it´s still not working.
    It seems like I´m the only one having this error, or?
