After the auto update to = 2.3.4 = I now receive a critical error:

[09-Apr-2025 15:35:31 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘|’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/me/mysite.net/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-securesubmit-gateway/classes/class-wc-gateway-securesubmit-subscriptions.php on line 220

    Hi @iceninexp ,

I think this indicates that your server is operating on a version of PHP below 8.0, which is no longer supported. If that is the case then I recommend updating to a supported PHP version and possibly rolling back the update to our plugin until you’re able to do so comfortably.

I really appreciate the quick response. Currently have PHP 8.1 on that site. I will iterate through some php versions and see what happens. I rolled back to the prior version of the plu-in and that fixed the immediate issue. Thanks again for the quick response.
