critical error after following instructions to create child theme

    I was able to recover by renaming the spacious-child directory to something else. But I have no idea how to follow the steps to get the child theme to register properly.

    Hi @jennifersuess,

    We appreciate your writing in,

    After inspecting your issue we found that you are creating a child theme from the beginning. However, it is not a wrong process at all. At present, our theme has its individual child theme zip file. You can download the child theme zip file and and take it as a starting point for creating child theme.Also you’ll not face the error as mentioned above by this method.
