I am new to WordPress, and my host is DreamHost. I have tried WordPress support, who sent me to DreamHost, who send me to the author of Crio, which sent me here. I cannot seem to get this to display correctly. It looks fine in the editor, but the layout is a mess on the published page. Everything is updated, cache cleared. Any help is appreciated!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Mandy-

Thanks for reaching out, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble as well as the “bouncing around” support departments. We’ll be happy to make sure you get this fixed.

When I take a look at your site, most of it looks fine, with the exception of the top row on your homepage, where the icons (About, School, Contact, and Calendar) are “scrunched” over on the right-hand side of the page. Please correct me if I’m wrong about my assumption of which area you’re having trouble with.

It looks like some extraneous </div> tags have been added into this block. You may be able to recover easily by browsing your Revisions and reverting to a prior version of the page. Look for the Revisions: Browse link in your Publish box.

If you can’t find a revision to revert back to, here’s how I fixed it. Go into your Text editor tab in the Post and Page Builder, select all your code with CTRL-A, and paste the code from this Gist instead:

You’re very welcome Mandy! If you don’t have any more questions, do you mind setting the topic here to “Resolved?”
