Hmm, strange. I searched around, but didn’t find much info on this error specific to WC Payments.

I did find this bug report, however, which seems to be related:

    https://github.com/Automattic/woocommerce-payments/issues/818

I’ve posted there to try to confirm a workaround. When I here back, I’ll update this thread as well. 🙂

    Thanks!

OK, so here’s what you’re going to need to do:

    1. Log into phpMyAdmin through your hosting provider, or otherwise get access to your WordPress database.
    2. In the wp_usermeta table, search for the customer ID: cus_HPnO1nugau5VUT.
    3. When you find it, delete that entire row.
    4. Retry the transaction.

If you’re getting errors for multiple customer IDs, you’ll need to do Steps 2 and 3 for each one.

If that’s not something you feel comfortable doing, your host should be able to help with this.

Let us know if that works, thanks!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
