• Hi,

in addition to my other recent post*. It might be the same issue, but I think it’s better to keep it seperated.

Since version 1.10.7 (with subscription 2.0):
I can order by credit card and everything works fine.
However, when the subscription renews, it works in the Paymill backend (successfull), but somehow my system (woocommerce) does not get informed or cannot work with the incoming information. Anyhow, the renewed order shows “pending payment”.
One more thing: This only happens at the second renewal (= 3rd order)!
(not confirmed, but I think when I tested it with the beta 1.10.7 two weeks ago, the same happend, but already at the first renewal)

    Any clue?
    Thanks!

    Best,
    Jens

    Hi Jens,

seems your webhook is not firing at the right time. While this should be synced usually, you may want to create a paymill ticket in their support area to allow me investigating that issue together with Paymill DEV team.

    Kind regards,

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

    I digged a little deeper.
The plugin log looked good. Nothing out of the normal. Same applies for the Paymill backend.
However, the Woocommerce Subscriptions (WCS) front-end dashboard log shows some strange behavior (see here). One more information: The subscription sometimes did not get paused before the renewal. This means that it is still active, even the payment is “pending”.
Since my other gateway (PayPal) works fine with this task (over 6 renewal periods so far) – could there be an issue within the communication between the paymill and WCS plugins?
But maybe the PayPal thing is a coincidence and the error comes from WCS alone.

Does it still make sense to contact paymill support?

    Best,
    Jens

Update: The next renewal has happend and it worked.
However, in the WCS backend the new order is 8171 that was already created yesterday, but missed the payment. I think this happened, because the order was still waiting for the payment (which happened at Paymill, but got not recognized by WCS). Since the payment got recognized today, this pending order got completed, instead of opening a new order.

There could be a communication / timing issue. Please see whether there are any errors in your error log. Additionally, v1.10.7 brings enhanced debug logging in directory /wp-content/paymill/lib/debug/

Maybe there is a hint for the issue?

    Sorry for the delay.
I checked the debug logging before, but it didn’t give me any new ideas.
However, I ran some more tests the last days and could not reproduce the issue. Therefore, this should be resolved.
    Thanks for the support.
