[Resolved] Credit card on booking form.

  • Hi all,
I created a website for my B&B and i set a booking page using ninja forms.
Now i need for a way to have customers to put their credit card number and exp date in order to confirm the booking (i don’t need them to pay online). Well, how should i do that? Do I need an SSL certificate, or there is another way? Also, is there some other good plugin for booking forms? (Free or not much expensive)

  • first, lets say I will give you my creditcard number and expiring date,\\
how do you confirm its real?

or am I missing the point of this topic?

With POS, to block booking, so if anyone books a room for 3 nights, and then doesn’t come without any notice, i can get the amount of the booking (as i write in the TOS that customer has to accept)

getting the creditcard number and expiration date is only a simple text form.

but for security reason, yes you need SSL to encrypt every data passing within your website.

Ok, thank you for the answer. Do i need any particular SSL certificate or the standard version is fine? Btw, my website is hosted by SiteOrigin, so i’d buy SSL Certificate by them, is it good?

I cannot help you what type of SSL certificate you need because its not my expertise. really sorry 🙁 you might try consulting the SSL provider , state your case or application or reason why you need ssl

Ok, I will, thanks a lot for the help! 🙂
