    Hi Friends,
I am having an issue with my credit card fields.

For some reason I cannot enter a numerical value into the fields. In fact the fields look very thin vertically as if not large enough to allow for a number to populate them.

If anyone could possibly take a look and lend a hand I would be very grateful.

I have one image set up for testing on the Purchase Images page for $1.00 just to test. But you do not have to purchase of course.

It is the image on the far right at the top.

Many thanks for lending a hand.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The fields are this way because the Siteground Optimizer is compressing the Stripe.js and the Stripe CSS file. You need to exclude these files from SG so that the fields will go back to normal.

I also forgot to mention that you need to exclude cache from Cart and Checkout pages. You should never have those pages optimized with a caching plugin.

    Hi again Stef,

I went through the Site Ground optimizer and made those changes, but it doesn’t seem to have taken effect yet.

I wonder if it might be time sensitive before the changes take effect?

    Thanks again.

Nope, you need to flush your cache now as well. You may have to do it in the WP Dash and on your SG dash as well. If Siteground is connected to Cloudflare you’ll have to do it there as well.

    Hi again Stef,

I went through quite a lot. But it seems to be doing the job now.
I was getting SSL errors, had to get tech support from Site Ground etc.

    But its looking better now.

I just wanted to thank you again. It was awfully kind of you to spend the time to help and I certainly appreciate it!

Many thanks. I will check this as resolved.

You’ll get that because the SSL you’re using is also being configured by Cloudflare. It’s like a little hiccup.

Glad everything is set straight now.
