I'm curious what this creativemarket.com site is that I see on the front page of wordpress.org because doesn't that kind of go against the terms and conflict with what WordPress is wanting...total 100% (even though they claim that) GPL without restrictions? I've seen many blog articles in the past few weeks with a major discussion about licensing, even Matt talking about this. The Creative market site has restrictive licenses, for example:
What license will my products be sold with?
Every product sold on Creative Market comes with our SimpleLicense. This license allows your customers to use your product in personal or commercial projects, but does not grant the right to redistribute or resell your product, whether modified, unmodified, or as part of a new work
I was just curious, but is this site ad something wporg is looking to promote or is this just an ad that got in or was something overlooked? I know the themes here are to be 100% GPL and even the commercial list too.
