Versions: WordPress 4.3.1. NextGen Gallery 2.1.15. PHP 5.5.
    1. Add Gallery / Images. Create New Gallery.
Enter a gallery name that is a duplicate of an existing gallery name.
    Add files/Upload.
The upload succeeds but then you get the error below and the gallery is not created.
    [object Object]
    0 images were uploaded
    2. Manage Galleries. Add new gallery. You can create a gallery with a duplicate name. But when you Edit the gallery, you can enter Gallery settings and Save changes. The message says Update successful but in fact the settings are not changed.
This used to work in 1.9.13.

It took me a while to figure out why my new galleries were not working once I upgraded to 2.1.15. Now that I know I can’t have duplicate names, I can work around this problem. FYI, I have duplicate names because I want the title shown under the gallery thumbnail in an album to be the same as others.
