• How do you create a subdirectory without creating an actual page for that subdirectory? For example, we want this: foo.com/classes/marketing/, and not this foo.com/marketing/. However, we don’t want to have a page create for foo.com/classes/.

  • Is this for navigation purposes I am assuming?

It’s not really for navigation. It’s my understanding they want to group some content into a separate section from the rest of the site. Most of the content falls under the root, but they’d like the new stuff under a subdirectory.

Why not just use a category then?

Aren’t categories just for posts? These will be pages.
