# Creating semi-invisible posts

 * Hi all.
 * Is there an easy way (no plugins) to post a blog entry which will NOT show up
   in the regular flow of the blog, but be accessible ONLY when someone knows the
   exact URL (i.e. [http://www.myblog.com/special-post/](http://www.myblog.com/special-post/))?

 * Could make it a [Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages) and exclude that Page
   when (or if) you list the other Pages.

 * I’m reaaly new to this. There’s a huge blank space at the top of my page before
   you get to the blog. readers have to scroll down to be able to read my blog.

 * Thanks MichaelH. Didn’t think of using Pages. The ‘include’ parameter doesn’t
   seem to work for me but ‘exclude’, so I’ll stick to that.
