# Creating posts for different pages

 * Hi, how could I make my posts to appear on other pages instead on Blog? For instances,
   I want video files to be placed on my “Media” page, text files on my “Blog”, 
   quotations on “Quotations” page and so on? Instead, everything always comes up
   on Blog page! I also have the static page and it shows recent posts, which is
   how I wanted. I use Sensible theme by modernthemes.

 * Use categories to categorize your posts and instead of a general blog link on
   the menu, add category links. If you don’t see categories on the left under appearance-
   >menus, click “screen options” at the top of the page and check the “categories”
   checkbox.

 * Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I still don’t get it 🙂
 * I’ve created categories and attributed each post to each category. But, where
   can I create a link for each category, that’s what I don’t get :). Is that on
   the “Edit post” window? I’ve tried to change the slug in permalink just below
   the headline of the post, into the page name, but nothing happened 🙂

 * Add menu items for each category
 * Go to the dashboard, then Appearance -> Menus
 * > f you don’t see categories on the left under appearance->menus, click “screen
   > options” at the top of the page and check the “categories” checkbox.
