Help! My site is so slow, half the time it literally doesn’t load at all. I contacted GoDaddy, who told me there wasn’t anything wrong on their end, and said:
> We suggest attempting to optimize the application code. Optimizing will, if possible, attempt to shorten the PHP coding of the application, making it load faster. It is possible to do the same to the MySQL database as well. PHP.INI is a file you must create in order to apply custom configuration to your PHP settings. I suggest doing a search on Google for WordPress or MySQL optimization tools in order to improve the speed of your application.

Has anyone created a php.ini file? I thought it should already exist! Is Godaddy just making excuses for my pathetically slow site? Any advice greatly appreciated.
