Creating outdented image captions not working

I am trying to duplicate the outdented image captions that appear in the theme preview. I have aligned an image to the left and right, tried to resize it smaller, but the caption always appears on the bottom of the image. Is there a trick to it that I’m missing?

Hi @nicholasarnold, I’m not seeing any small right or left aligned images on that page currently. Would you be willing to add that so we can see what you see?
