    Hi,
I would like to use MailPoet beside the normal e-mail function in a slightly different way. I would like to use it, to creat a list of user’s mobile numbers. But when I use MailPoet’s forms only e-mail-adresses can be inserted. Is there a possibility to change this? I would love to have the form for e-Mail subscriptions and mobile subscriptions in the same layout.
    Thanks and all the best!
    Praedicare

  • You should be able to create a custom form where there is a field for a mobile number. You will still have the email field, but you can make the mobile field compulsory as well.

Thanks for the advice, but I want two differents forms, so that visitors can choose, whether they want to subscribe via e-amil or via mobile number.

I don’t think it is possible to subscribe someone without an email address. Maybe you should be looking at list software that is specific to mobile marketing.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi, @praedicare

I’d suggest you add a field for a mobile number in your form.

Then you could create two Lists: Mobile number and Email.

Add a List selection field and just let the user decide if they want to subscribe only for Mobile or only for Email (or both), but you’ll have their email address anyway.

Probably that’s what I’ll need to do.
