  • Hello i’m new to wordpress multisite.. when I create a new site, the administrator username is automatically set to ‘admin’ how do I change that?

    I mean when creating sites how do i make default usernames to ‘siteadmin’ instead of the common ‘admin’

    When you make new sites, there is no ‘default’ username with MultiSite. Nor is there with Single Site, actually, you can pick whatever name you want.

    When you make a new site, pick whatever name/userid you want. If you don’t have an ID called siteadmin, you have to make one.

    If you are the “admin” user, and you’re creating new sites with your email address, they will be yours. 🙂
