Are there any plugins and/or hacks which would enable a subscriber to create a new post without having to do it from within the dashboard? Thanks.

One plugin that helps with that:

    MichaelH:
Thanks for quick feedback I already searched the forum and found the tdo-mini-forms plugin. I am following up on it. However, I thought there may already be some hacks which I had not found. I was also wondering if one could just take say the code for the dashboard page for writing a post make it look like one wants and then put it in a page from where it could be called from the menu. I just wanted to avoid having subscribers creating posts via the dashboard. Thanks.

I want my users to create post outside the dashboard too but i don't want to use TDO Mini Forms because i want to throw in some custom ajax and tricks.

Instead of hacking Mini Forms, It'll be nice if someone post the variables you need to send to create a post or something like that, because I can't post anything no matter how hard I'm trying, even copying the dashboard form html.

Some help would be appreciated, thanks.

@ozzysong : it's better to custom ozzysong. cause as long i concern, wordpress don't support such $variables. you need to create a plugin or custom your own themes to support those feature

I finally resolved it by passing all my form variables throught wp_insert_post() WordPress function, and is working like a charm.
