Creating My Custom Header

Hey everyone, I was hoping that somebody can give me some help.

I am trying to modify the default twentyten theme. I Love this theme because It is simple, and very Plugin & SEO Friendly!

However I wanted to grab the menu system from WPSHOWER’s Imbalance theme.

I took a couple of screenshots and combined them to show what I wanted to do! 🙂

And this is how I want my theme to look 🙂 (Well not exactly those words, but that design! 🙂 )

And I took the header, and CSS Styling out. And got this;

I attempted to replace all the CSS And Links in the header file of twentyten with the contents of their header.php file, and updating all links. I got the header…. but my entire stlye was also changed!

Also, my posts never seemed to end. I deleted that. 🙁

Any help would be very nice!
