# Creating Multiple Libraries – always Library 1

 * I am trying to create some new libraries. I have increased the number of Libraries
   to allow for the new ones. No matter what I try, the new one always over-writes
   Library 1. I am missing something in the instructions — but why would the **target**
   be the one you **copied from**??
    1. Select the Library that settings will be copied from in the Select Current Library
       Settings drop-down list at the top of the page (I select and hit ‘Go!”)
    2. Select a target library in the Copy From: drop-down list on the right-hand side(
       I select a blank Library#)
    3. Press the Copy! button to create a duplicate of the original settings (and it
       changes Library 1!)

 * The two drop-down lists at the top work independently of each other. The first
   one with its Go! button is just meant to allow you to change which library you’re
   currently viewing. The second drop-down with its Copy! button is intended to 
   copy another configuration into the current library.
 * So, if you want to copy library 2 into library 3, you would select library 3 
   on the left and hit go, then select library 2 on the right and select Copy. Library
   3 would now have all settings from Library 2. The text next to the copy drop-
   down says “Copy from”, not “Copy To”.
