creating .htaccess to update the premalinks structure

    when i click the pretty url option and then update the premalinks , it just tells me the the options has been saved and give me no code to put in the htaccess file

    i’ve contacted the hosting support and they suggested to upload the files themselves

    the problem is that i don’t actually know how to make htaccess file or what code should i put into as the blog doesn’t give me any code as i said

    they said they can upload for me 3 files
    can some one tells me how to do it and how many htaccess file will i need and where to put it ?
