# Creating Dynamic Folders

 * Is there a way to create dynamic folders? In my case I want dynamic folders of
   categories under various folders. Each set of several categories will have their
   own parent folder instead of all being under Dynamic Folders > Categories > [
   Dynamic Folders by Categories]. The current dynamic folders cannot be dragged
   out into a new parent folder. This is very hard to organise when you start to
   have a lot of categories.

 * I’m afraid dynamic folders are read-only and can’t be organized like other folders
   due to their dynamic nature.
 * That said, you can use the `wicked_folders_get_folders` filter (located in `class-
   wicked-folders.php’) to alter the folder hierarchy. So, depending on what you’re
   trying to accomplish, you may be able to use that filter to organize the folders
   the way you want.

 * Thanks for the reply. I’ve solved my problem with another method. Don’t worry
   though, still using wicked folders. It would definitely be nice if we could get
   Creating/Moving Dynamic folders as a feature in the future.
