Ok I’m really a dummy with programming etc. So I would prefer a plugin/widget solution…
Here is my problem: I want to create several drop down menus in my sidebar.
What I want is to have the main sections, and when rollover they display the sub-section which are the pages (my site is build around pages, not post or categories).
Ideally same principle for a another sub-level with subpages displayed from pages when rollover.
I really want the pages to appare/dissapear in cascade when rollover, so an accordion menu is not what I am looking for really.I don’t want to have to click on the section to display the page.
Something like what you see on the left column of this website
I am currently using Dirtylicious template but will probably change later on so I would like a solution that works with not too much programming if possible…
WP menu manager and the dropdown widget did not get me where I want…]
Hi, I have visited your site I am looking for something similar to my site, can any one tell me what plugin to use please, I want to have submenus as same to this when I mouse hover please anyone suggest me a solution
Add me to the list of people who’d like to have the ability to add a fly-out dropdown menu to a sidebar menu.
It’s very odd to me that this very common feature of most other CMS’s isn’t readily available in WordPress. I guess the functionality is sort of there with custom menus and if you know how to code. But I don’t know how to code.
Many themes include additional menu options as do plugins.
Therefore, you have wide ranging options with WP on how to create menus.
