Creating custom “pages” post type

    How can I make my custom post type (a page type) using CPT UI? What are the setting I should use? Like I need a custom “pages” section completely separate of the original “pages” section, yet it should be completely independent.

    What features exactly are you wanting mimicked?

    If you need the parent/child relationships, make sure to set the post type to hierarchical.

    That’s the only immediate thing coming to mind to make the post type behave like a page rather than a standard post, but if you provide more information of details, I can make sure to recommend settings.
