    Hey guys,

There a friend of mine & she wants me to create an eCommerce site for her business. I have created several WordPress plugins, themes & even wrote a book about WordPress security, but I have never tried WooCommerce or any other eCommerce WordPress plugin.

How hard it is to create an eCommerce site using WooCommerce?

Do we need anything else, except PayPal, to receive payment & stuff?

    Thanks for your time :)

If you've done all that, you'll find Woocommerce simple. The hardest part is setting up the store settings, which are all in the admin area.

As far as payment, PayPal can be used for everything so if that's what they are using, then they'll be fine.

Using WooCommerce to set up an eCommerce site is easy, but the hardest part may be tweaking WooCommerce template pages to fit any customizations you may have.

As @catacaustic has said, if your client just wants to use PayPal then WooCommerce by default supports PayPal, but if your client wants to provide her customers with the option to pay via a credit card, then you will have to go to either the plugin page here on WordPress.org or Woothemes.com to [purchase if necessary] and download a WooCommerce payment gateway plugin.

    Best luck to you!

@kunal.corporate - Please post your own thread. It's considered rude to take over someone else's thread for your own purposes.
